Kirkop Irkotta fest

Sweet ricotta filling

  • 1 kg ricotta
  • 200g icing sugar
  • 3 tbsp chopped home-made orange confettura/ candied peel
  • 2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 125g dark chocolate chips
  • ΒΌ tsp cinnamon
  • 100g pistachios, toasted and chopped
  • 2 tbsp aniseed liqueur (Anisette)

Place the ricotta in a bowl and mix with an electric mixer till smooth. Add in the icing sugar and vanilla and mix well. Add in all the remaining ingredients and mix well till smooth and creamy. Chill before using.
